Regine Schumann and VogelART had a long time the idea for an edition. The 4 mini steles was created when Regine Schumann designed a series of gigantic stele's. She produced amazing prototypes and so we had the idea for the mini steles. The four mini steles are available individually or as an Set of 4 objects. The luminosity and changeability of the objects is unique. The 4 Objects have an edition of 5 and is only available at VogelART.

Regine Schumann (* 1961) was born in Goslar and she lives and works in Cologne, Germany. She studied from 1982 to 1989 at the Hochschule für Bildene Künste Braunschweig art. In 1989 she was acknowledged as a master student of Roland Dörfler. In her work Regine Schumann focuses on light effects caused by fluorescent materials. Schumann’s innovative use of materials and color combinations provides each work with a unique and ineffable luminosity. Schumann also uses blacklight to complement the other colours. In daylight, the streamlined blending of transparent and opaque surfaces in each work interacts in a playful study of light and form. Due to Schumann’s use of fluorescent material, is under black light transform the sculptures into glowing, mysterious objects that radiate through the darkness. These duplicitous encounters with Schumann’s sculptures allow for an ever-changing viewing experience. Schumann had numerous solo exhibitions in Europe, Canada and the US. Her work is included in a number of permanent collections and international museums, and in several important private collections worldwide.
