Ida Tursic (1974) and Wilfried Mille (1974) have been working and living together since their studies at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Dijon. Since the beginning of their work as an artist duo in 2000, they deal with images, photos, which they transform into painting. Taken from magazines, art books, films and the Internet, they reimagine them in the history and genre of painting. Their large canvases depict scenes of glamour, pornography, luxury, landscapes, fashion, geometric elements and death. All of the subjects depicted are highlighted by an overwhelming amount of imagery found on today's social media. The huge paintings, overlapping layers of color or interrupted by different patterns, deal with the manipulation, reuse and disappearance of images.

Ida Tursic & Wilfried Mille live and work in Mazamet, France. They are represented by Max Hetzler, Almine Rech, Alfonso Artiaco and Pilevneli galleries.

Ida Tursic & Wilfried Mille had many solo and group exhibitions in many institutions including Centre Pompidou (France), Monnaie de Paris (France), Espace d'art contemporain (France), Kunst in Weidingen (Germany), Fondation d'enterprise Ricard (France), Musée des Beaux-Arts de Dôle (France), Musée Régional d'Art Contemporain Languedoc-Roussillon (France), Musée de l'abbaye Sainte-Croix (France), MuMo (le Musée Mobile) (France), Fondazione del Monte di Bologna e Ravenna (Italy), Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts (France) and Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rennes (France).
